Hey, I’m Simon.
I’m a photographer specialising in TV and film production stills, I love capturing moments that bring a story to life. Before stepping full-time behind the camera, I spent seventeen years working as an actor, so I understand the energy, pressure, and magic that happens on set — and I aim bring that experience into every frame I shoot.
These days, I spend my time between Cornwall and London, and work across some of the UK’s biggest productions, creating promotional imagery and documenting scenes, characters, and the atmosphere that shape a show’s identity. Whether it’s an emotional close-up, a high-energy unscripted moment, or BTS between takes, I love finding the details that help audiences connect with a production before they’ve even watched it.
I shoot a mix of Key Art and Unit Stills, and my work has taken me to a huge range of locations. I’ve photographed in humid jungles, lugged full studio set-ups to sun-soaked Caribbean beaches, shot on sprawling sound stages, busy TV studios, and even with tiny guerrilla-style crews darting around cities, keeping under the radar. Every environment has its own rhythm, and I enjoy adapting to whatever the production throws my way.
Most of all, I adore being part of a creative team — collaborating with cast and crew, staying invisible when needed, stepping in when the moment calls for it, and always aiming to capture images that feel authentic, cinematic, and full of story
If you ever want to chat about a project, swap stories, or collaborate on something new, I’m always up for it.
