Hey, I’m Simon.
I’m a photographer specialising in TV and film production stills, with a passion for capturing the moments that bring a story to life. Before stepping full-time behind the camera, I spent fifteen years working as an actor, so I understand the energy, pressure, and magic that happens on set — and I bring that experience into every frame I shoot.
These days, I spend my time between Cornwall and London and work across some of the UK’s biggest productions, creating promotional imagery and documenting the scenes, characters, and atmosphere that shape a show’s identity. Whether it’s an emotional close-up, a high-energy scene, or a quiet moment between takes, I love finding the details that help audiences connect with a story before they’ve even watched it.
I shoot a mix of Key Art and Unit Stills, and my work has taken me to a huge range of locations. I’ve photographed in humid jungles, sun-soaked beaches, sprawling sound stages, busy TV studios, and even with tiny guerrilla-style crews darting around under the radar. Every environment has its own rhythm, and I enjoy adapting to whatever the production throws my way.
Most of all, I love being part of a creative team — collaborating with cast and crew, staying invisible when needed, stepping in when the moment calls for it, and always aiming to capture images that feel authentic, cinematic, and full of story
If you ever want to chat about a project, swap stories from set, or collaborate on something new, I’m always up for it.
